Once applied and cured, the PTFE forms a low friction surface that repels water.

Applications of PTFE Coatings on Anodised Surfaces

Common applications include machinery parts, precision instruments and camera lens bodies. In the latter applications PTFE coatings also improve the 'feel' and appearance as well as reducing 'finger marking' and the risk of scratching.
